Not an estimate. These are the sun’s actual positions for that venue on that date, and they will not change between now and the day.

Your result comes to this address, followed by two short notes about the light on your day. Nothing else, ever — we don’t sell or share it, and one click unsubscribes you.

Free, and no card is asked for. Computed from real astronomy for your exact venue, the same way the paid report is.

Where the numbers come from

Real astronomy

Sun and moon positions are computed with astronomy-engine, the same open-source library used for observatory planning. No model, no margin of error.

Thirty years of records

Weather patterns come from the Open-Meteo historical archive, read at your venue's exact latitude and longitude for your exact calendar day.

Real satellite imagery

Shadow maps are drawn over Mapbox satellite tiles of your venue, so the shade you see is cast by the actual buildings and trees.
